Being mindful is one of the required abilities for a leader. Mindfulness can help increase the ability to be aware of our emotions and regulate it, helps in decreasing stress & anxiety, and focus attention to leading towards high performance. The Mindful Leader is a powerful one-day leadership program bringing together the latest developments in Neuroscience, Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence. Leaders who practice mindfulness, and apply mindfulness techniques to their leadership of others, are better equipped to cope with everyday leadership challenges and create high performance in others.

Who should participate?

Leaders, managers, directors, decision-makers and professionals who would like to increase their team’s performance and improve their understanding of emotions and emotional intelligence can join this one-day program.

How it works - the approach:

In this one day enhancement program, the participants will gain knowledge on how to improve their emotions and emotional intelligence. They will also explore and practice tools and techniques for applying mindfulness as a means to improve the quality of their leadership.

In this program, participants will:

  • Explore the science of emotions and emotional intelligence,

  • Examine the Genos model of emotional intelligence,

  • Review feedback about their emotionally intelligent leadership behavior, and

  • Explore and practice a set of mindfulness techniques as the gateway to enhancing their emotional intelligence and leadership effectiveness.

Prior to the program, participants will be required to complete the Genos Emotionally Intelligent Leadership Assessment. During the program, we will provide each participant their own Feedback Report, a Development Tips workbook and expert led debrief and action planning methodologies to help leaders leverage strengths and address development opportunities.
