Which norm groups are used in your Psychometric Assessments? Where the assessment scores compared to other managers in the Middle East? UK? US? In same industry?
We have multiple norm groups, such as UAE norm group, Gulf Arabs Norm Group, Levant Norm Groups, North Africa Norm Group, International Norm Group, and others for 118 countries have their own norm groups. Moreover, our norm groups are not specific only to the general population, but also job specific and industry specific norm groups.
Are your Psychometric Assessments validated in the UAE and Middle East?
All our assessment solutions have been validated not only for the UAE but for the entire Arab World. Our coefficient alpha ranges from 0.79 to 0.90.
Can we link the competencies to our own competencies, i.e. upload them onto Profiles system?
No. What we can do is map your competencies against the indicators and traits measured in our solutions, then we will give you a matrix that shows where your competencies are measured against our tools. From an industry point of view, it is not possible to replace traits or competencies in an assessment (psychometric) with client competencies since this will affect consistency and reliability of the assessment. You see, the measuring tool by which we measure must be consistent across the board. Any change in the assessment will mean an immediate need to validate the toll.
Can we do a team analysis using your Psychometric Assessments?
Yes. You can use our Profiles Team Analysis Tool, or a combination of the ProfileXT, the Checkpoint 360° and Profiles Performance Indicator. It depends on what is your objective of the assessment, how complex the team is, and the size of the team.
Do the assessment reports provide us with probing questions to be used with the candidate during an interview?
Yes. The Interview Guide reports provides you with competency-based interview questions to probe.
Do you plan to upgrade and/or add new Psychometric Assessment solutions to what you currently have?
Yes. In fact, we have a suite of assessment solutions and we are always bringing new tools in addition to upgrading existing tools at least once every 18 to 24 months. Moreover, we have the ability to design client specific tools and in this case, it is a question of economics and funds.
How Psychometric Assessments are administered?
All our assessments can be administered on-line. If it is not possible due to lack of computers or internet, then pencil and paper is possible as well.
Do we have to install a software to use your Psychometric Assessments?
No. Profiles International's system is web-based. Hence, you can utilize assessments from anywhere and at any time.
What is the format/turn-around time of assessment reports?
Reports of Profiles International assessments are generated instantly upon completing an assessment. They are generated only in PDF format.

Which cultures are your Psychometric Assessments suitable for?
The assessment is valid for all cultures. For each country or region we have a version that has taken into consideration that particular culture. Also, we have the version for the Arab World. In addition, we have access to use versions of other countries, virtually Europe, Australia, China, US, Canada, etc. for people from those countries. Although we would not recommend that and instead, we recommend using the international version to ensure that we are using the right national norm groups.
